This article introduces the structural features and use effects of the taper direct water-cooled wire drawing die.
The material and structure of the conical direct cold die is the same as the traditional wire drawing die. The die sleeve is made of 45 steel, and the die core is hard alloy. The grade is YG3 or YG3X. The population cone, lubrication cone, working cone, and outlet cone of the die hole are the same as the traditional drawing die. In terms of structure, the core and the sleeve of the tapered straight cold mold are matched with a taper of 1:15. The inner wall of the mold sleeve is provided with a water cooling groove and a water cooling hole is drilled outside the groove.
