At present, high-speed mechanical grinding machines and diamond-plated metal grinding needles are commonly used in the grinding process of foreign wire drawing dies. The equipment runs smoothly. The specifications and use of the grinding needles make the product more accurate. The hole size of the mold uses a profile recorder. And the aperture measuring instrument to check, and use the special microscope to check the drawing die to check the surface finish. Many domestic J companies are still using outdated equipment to grind the hole pattern by hand. Therefore, there are the following problems: the hole pattern parameters fluctuate greatly, and it is difficult to process a straight working cone; the sizing area and the working area are handed over. It is easy to grind the transition angle at the place, causing the wire to produce secondary compression in the sizing zone, increasing the external friction, reducing the length of the sizing zone, and shortening the service life of the mold; the frequency of repairing worn grinding needles varies from person to person. Irregular use results in poor hole pattern consistency. Detection methods are also backward, only relying on visual inspection or simple tools such as magnifying glass, microscope, etc., and the focus is on the surface finish of the mold, which can not effectively detect the hole size, let alone control it.
