Diamond wire drawing die
There are two types of diamond wire drawing dies . One is the natural diamond die. Natural diamond has the characteristics of high hardness and good wear resistance. The drawn wire has a high surface finish. Due to the anisotropy of the structure of natural diamond, the hardness is caused. It is also anisotropic, so that the wear of the die hole is uneven, the product is not round, and the price is expensive and scarce. It is generally used as a fine wire drawing die or a finished wire drawing die with high surface quality requirements; the other is artificial polycrystalline diamond Mold, synthetic polycrystalline diamond is non-oriented polycrystalline. It has the advantages of high hardness, good wear resistance and strong impact resistance. There is no anisotropy in hardness, uniform wear, long mold life, suitable for high-speed drawing. Due to the quality problems of domestic polycrystalline mold blanks such as coarse grains and poor polishing performance, domestic manufacturers mostly use polycrystalline molds as transition molds instead of finished molds. However, with the improvement of the inherent quality and processing level of polycrystalline molds, there is a tendency to replace expensive natural diamonds as finished molds.
