        Comparing the wear curves of the German drawing die and the drawing die of Xiangsteel in China, it can be seen that the two drawing die work under the same drawing conditions: workpiece material: 65 steel wire; drawing speed: 3.64m / s; drawing Lubricant: soap powder; front surface coating after drawing: pickling, phosphating, borax. The import angle of the foreign wire drawing die product is increased, effectively avoiding the abrasion of the wire and the drawing die, and bringing in more lubricant, enhancing the lubricating effect and reducing the core wear. Therefore, the optimization of the hole shape of the drawing die and the improvement of the manufacturing precision of the drawing die can save the production cost and greatly improve the production efficiency, which is of great significance to the development of the wire industry in China. This change improves the surface quality of the wire and also improves the life of the wire drawing die. Compared with foreign products, the domestic drawing die blank has the following significant shortcomings: 1 The inlet angle is small. The service life of the wire drawing die made in Germany is 2.72 times higher than the service life of the wire drawing die produced by Xiangsteel. 3 The sizing area is not significant. The remarkable and straight sizing area is capable of producing high precision and high surface quality wires, and is advantageous for reducing wear and greatly improving the service life of the wire drawing die. The longer working area is beneficial to the reduction and even distribution of the friction of the wire during the drawing process, reducing the wear of the inner hole of the drawing die and improving the life of the die. The sizing zone is the final step in determining the ultimate size of the wire. The shortness and unevenness of the sizing zone will directly affect the ultimate quality of the wire. 2 The work area is short. In addition, this type of work area design also prevents lubricant from exiting the inlet end of the wire drawing die. The test results show that the structure of the wire drawing die has a great influence on the use of the wire drawing die. Because of the short working area, the molds in China have a small effective use area, which not only increases the friction, but also aggravates the wear and tear, and spreads the raw materials, increasing the capital investment.
